Your Bio

Sculpting for nearly a decade, I love to create many different things. I have a line of OOAK Babies which I offer on ebay regularly. I also enjoy sculpting fantasy characters, art dolls and life size figures. Last year I came out with the first children's book I have illustrated with my sculptures called "The Stibil Forest Adventures", follow the link www.thestibilforest.com to check it out. Growing up on a grain farm in Northern Alberta, Canada, with 3 sisters and 3 brothers was always an adventure. I now live with my husband and our sons and a nice little town not far from the farm I grew up on. I have always loved to be creative, and have worked at many jobs over the years from Bartender in the early years, to Parts Person later on, and then Outside Parts Sales for a large truck dealership before becoming a full time artist a few years ago. I enjoy teaching classes on sculpting, as well as needle felting. I love to share these art forms with as many people as I can, since it has given me so much over the years, I hope everyone has a chance to at least try it. I wake up every day with a thousand new ideas, and am always looking toward the future. I hope to put together a sculpting book in the near future, as well as new books in The Stibil Forest Adventures series.
