The Art of Antoniette D'Angelo

Well,  my name is Antoniette D'Angelo. I grew up in Montreal, Canada. I am married to a great husband and have two wonderful daughters who inspire me greatly. I have always loved art..drawing, painting and so on.  Ever since I was a young girl, I have always experimented in some kind of art. I have never taken any kind of art class.  Everything I do is self taught.  I actually only started sculpting in late 2007.  My sister who is an amazing artist asked me if I was interested in starting to sculpt.  I did and have been addicted ever since.  My sister is a wonderful inspiration and help to me.  I love creating something new and watching it evolve from a lump of clay.  I never use any molds in my artwork.  Each piece and face that I create is a one of a kind piece which cannot be reproduced.   It is like creating a real little person and having that person come to life.  It is an amazing accomplishment.
