The Art of Elke Peak
My name is Elke and I have always enjoyed making things and being creative. At the age of 8, I got a Dollhouse for my birthday and miniatures have been a particular interest of mine ever since. I started with Polymer Clay by making Fimo flowers, mice , birds etc. a few years ago when my friend and I did Craft Fairs for a while. It is only since March 2005, that I have taken up the challenge of sculpting figures and Fairies in particular since I was inspired by an accidental visit to the e-bay OOAK Fairy page. I have much to learn and I hope in time I will develop my own style which is a bit here and there at the moment. I live in St. Helens Merseyside with my husband and two grown children who give me lots of support and don't mind if the dinner is a bit late.
