I have been working with polymer clay off and on for perhaps 15 years, mostly creating things for myself or friends. I love to work with the clay and see what little person emerges. I hesitate to call them
dolls, even, because when they are finished they often seem to be someone completely separate from me. I love that part of it. live in the high desert of New Mexico (14 miles from nearest gas station) where I hope to eventually run a homestead of sorts. I grew up on the coast of California (about 1 hour north of Santa Barbara) and while I miss the ocean, and yes fog!!, I love the wilderness where I am now at 7500 feet elevation! I am a single mother (age 45) and have...uh hummm...5 children. I use the name Celtic Juju for two reasons. Juju refers to the nickname my best friend Sherrie gave me years ago (though it also refers to magic!). I use Celtic in my name because my heritage is very important to me. I love genealogy and thus far have traced my lineage back to Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. I think that in |
