There are a few requirements for joining the GFD web site

GDA is a family friendly site. Any art displayed on the GDA web site must also be family friendly. Some nudity is ok, however we do not accept any images depicting overtly sexual art, or violence. |

It is our policy that web sites listed on your member page must be at least 75% devoted to their doll making. Our policy is such because our web site is devoted to promoting dolls. For instance, if a collector clicks the link to your website looking for dolls, and your website is all about your dog, the collector will wonder why the link was listed on a doll site. We do not want to appear to our collectors to be promoting anything other than dolls. If your site is not 75% devoted to your dolls, you may still join without listing your website on your member page. |

Here are some other tidbits about the GDA web site.

Each month, one member will be chosen as our "Featured Artist". The featured artist is chosen by the GDA web designer. The featured artist will receive special recognition, as well as receive extra attention being listed on the first entry page. |

GDA loves to promote our members, so we do advertising of the GDA web site. Advertising avenues very, but include internet advertising, print advertising, newsletters, internet links, and more. Help us out and let your customers and friends know about us. Feel free to use our logo on your web site for linking here. |

New members are added to the bottom of the artist listing, however, the GDA web designer will rotate the artist listing once a month. So each month you are on the GDA web site, your listing will move 1 row up the page. This should give everyone the opportunity to be at the top of the listing. |

From time to time, GDA hosts special charity projects. You will receive an email announcement when we are beginning a project. Please consider participating, they are lots of fun! |

GDA also has a forum, where members can go to chat with other artists, get tips and tricks for doll making, and much more. The forum can be found at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/GlobalFDF/
If you would like to join, check the box on the application and we will send you an invitation. |

At this time, membership fees can only be paid by signing up for our Paypal subscription service, by paying a year in advance, or, by using our trade program. With the paypal subscription, your membership fee will automatically be deducted each month. For more info on paypal, please go to their web site at ww.paypal.com. You are free to can cancel your membership with GDA at anytime. There are no refunds given if you decide to cancel. |

Doll Shop & Gift Shop
The GDA Doll Shop can be used by GDA members to sell their original dolls.
The gift shop is a specialty printing shop offering products
featuring the images of artists dolls.
You will receive more information on selling in these shops after your membership is approved.
